Piping With Royal Icing: Level 2


Saturday 5th March 1.30pm to 4.30pm

Karen has used royal icing most days of her working life and describes it as her first love! It is one of the most useful mediums and the skill learnt on this class are ones you will use over and over again Once you have mastered the basics of Royal icing it’s time to move onto the more demanding intricacies of finer piping. On this class you will learn the following :-

  • Piped filigree, lace and pearls.
  • Drop lines and side designs.
  • Over piping.
  • Brush embroidery.
  • Please note you will be working on a dummy for this class.

The cost of the class includes use of all the equipment needed on the day, a set of class notes including a royal icing recipe, your decorated dummy cake to take home and drinks, all you need to bring with you is an apron.
